Scalp Micropigmentation for Men
Men’s Scalp Micropigmentation
WHAT IS SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION?
Introducing Scalp Micropigmentation by International Hairlines – exclusively from Noggin Master Studio in Pittsburgh.
Scalp Micropigmentation has been growing in popularity in recent years as an effective hair loss solution for men of all ages. It is a non-intrusive treatment that utilizes micro-needling to add special coloring to the scalp to emulate hair follicles. The process of Scalp Micropigmentation results in the appearance of what appear to be modest hair follicles, creating the appearance of more hair in thinning areas. Our skilled hair loss professionals can recreate the appearance of thicker hair and a natural hairline, as well as filling in thinning areas as an adjunct to hair transplant procedures.
International Hairlines Scalp Micropigmentation from Noggin Masters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania can give you a precise imitation of your own closely cut hair follicles and match precisely your own natural hair color and shading. Scalp Micropigmentation is particularly effective in areas of thinning hair, especially in the part, crown and front temporal areas. SMP is excellent in terms of duplicating the look of a buzz cut from your local barber. With scalp micropigmentation, you can enjoy all your lifestyle activities to the fullest.
DOES SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION WORK?
If you are beginning to experience thinning hair or are concerned about additional thinning emerging after a previous hair transplant procedure, Scalp Micropigmentation can work to provide you with the appearance of fuller, more dense hair coverage in thinning areas. Many people are confused about the difference between scalp micropigmentation and scalp tattoos. They are not the same. Because scalp micropigmentation is a highly specialized process, it is able to provide the appearance of thicker, more dense areas of hair coverage and effectively mask hair transplant scarring that is totally natural looking even for those who like to wear their hair short.
By exactly replicating your own natural hair follicles both in terms of color and shading, scalp micropigmentation is ideal for:
- Men and women who are looking for additional hair density in certain areas
- Individuals with shaved heads and who want a more noticeable hairline
- Those suffering from various degrees and types of alopecia
- Those looking to hide or mask scarring as a result of hair transplant procedures, burns, or other trauma
- Individuals experiencing minor hair loss or thinning of the crown and front hairline
At Noggin Masters in Pittsburgh, our precise scalp pigmentations by International Hairlines are custom formulated to precisely match the color of your own natural growing hair. Whether you are just beginning to notice the effects of genetic hair loss or are suffering from other scalp or scarring issues, we invite you to contact us and schedule a free, confidential consultation to learn more about our scalp micropigmentation procedures and to see if scalp micropigmentation may be right for you.
SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION vs. SCALP TATTOOS
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is not something that you would typically find in your average tattoo shop. Firstly, tattoo shop inks are meant to last a lifetime, and have a tendency to fade and turn bluish-green over a period of time. The specialized pigments that Noggin Master uses in scalp micropigmentation procedures are designed to precisely match your own hair follicle color, and to hold their color. They also will become less strong over time, but will not shift color. They typically last for a period of between five to seven years.
Similarly, tattoo shop needles are much too large for scalp micropigmentation procedures, and penetrate much deeper into the skin’s dermal layers. SMP, in contrast, utilizes special SMP needles which are designed in such a way as to match the width of a human hair, and are only designed to penetrate to the second dermal skin layer, thereby offering minimal discomfort for the patient. Because of this, we are also able to ensure much greater accuracy of hair follicle replication for an extremely natural looking outcome.
